Calling Shadows to the light
Mystikana is a family trio of singer-songwriters from the Canadian wilderness, weaving haunting harmonies, poetic storytelling, and dreamlike atmosphere through vocals, guitar, violin and percussion.

Our story has been shaped by wild places, deep waters, and seasons of deep transformation.
We have lived among forests and open skies, learning from silence, solitude, and the rhythms of the land. Nature has long been both refuge and teacher—guiding our creativity, grounding our spirits, and reminding us of the beauty that still exists beneath the noise of the world.

Drawn always to the realms of fantasy, myth, and the unseen, we have long been inspired by ancient stories, hidden worlds, and the quiet sense that there is more to life than what can be touched or explained. That thread of magic has never left us—it winds through our lyrics, harmonies, imagery, and the emotional worlds our music invites listeners into.

At one chapter of our lives, we left the familiar behind and set sail on a small boat toward the Caribbean, drawn by freedom, wonder, and the call of the unknown. The sea became its own kind of teacher: vast, humbling, unpredictable, and alive with mystery.

Like many creative journeys, ours has not unfolded in a straight line. There have been challenges, health struggles, and seasons that asked for healing before expression. Times when life turned inward and the music had to wait quietly beneath the surface.
But it never disappeared.
Through every chapter, the songs kept calling.

What began in forests, cabins, coastlines, and candlelit rooms has grown into a living body of work rooted in shadow and light, longing and healing, mystery and transformation.
