This Magic Mushroom Moon is a powerful manifestation piece. Just as mushrooms rise from the darkness, so does the Moon move through shadow to light. 🧚‍️

Dance with the magic of the moon and her mushrooms as you watch your manifestations unfold before your eyes.

This unique item is created from a slice of wood from a fallen limb from our large Basswood that we call the Tree of Life. This wheel is entirely hand cut and hand burned.

I use wood burning to etch the trees and quote into the basswood. The wood is only mildly sanded, with natural imperfections. The back is rough, and the pyrography has a natural, rustic quality that adds to the charm and authenticity of each piece.

There is a small string attached to the back which is held in with wooden sticks. No glue.

SUSTAINABILITY

We have a 200 acre parcel of land in Ontario that is being maintained under a MFTIP program, which offers a property tax reduction on well-managed forest land in Ontario. It is an incentive to support landowners in the stewardship of our forests!

FORAGING

This piece of basswood was found whilst foraging in the woods. I absolutely love being inspired by Mother Nature’s fallen pieces and transforming them into art.

Basswood / Linden Tree

The Basswood Tree is a symbol of protection, love, and luck. It can grow up to 70–80 feet in height and provides generous shade. In some cultures, weddings are celebrated under Basswood trees. The tree is believed to protect against evil and negativity, which is why it is often planted near homes and buildings.

The Basswood Tree is associated with the German goddess Freya and the Norse goddess Frigga, goddesses of love, fertility, and marriage. Its abundance of flowers and fruits is seen as nurturing and motherly, and its heart-shaped leaves symbolize love.

Main Surface is Lightly Coated With Varnish

Each item in the shop is handmade in the woods.

I try to use only natural, vintage, or recycled materials that I find while crafting.

Each piece is purified with the healing energies of a piece of cedar stick, a deeply sacred tree possessing cleansing energy and healing properties similar to sage.

Every shipment is prepared with love & a little majick. Most parcels are sent in cardboard boxes that have already been used (you may notice traces of old labels), with bubble wrap, kraft, etc., to avoid waste and unnecessary over-consumption.

Handling takes 1–3 days.
